The build of U9 in the pack is the latest version with the absolute latest patches. The same is true for the build of UO although by the time it hits the shelves you may have to patch since we would have gone through another publish cycle. The goal of the extra character slot here is to give players who buy the expansion pack room to try out the new professions and something extra that many players have requested.
