The Royal Britannian Guards were requestedby Lord Kyeric to investigate an unusual tunnel discovered in the Moonglow Lyceaum.
Leaping down and into the tunnel, the Guards soon met a very unusual sight. Surrounded by laming lava they were on what appeared to be a stone peninsula. In the center of it all was a pale yellow gate.
The gate was encompassed by eight crystals; each resembling a segment of fiery molten rock. What was even stranger, however, was what came out of the gate.
A bright, sky blue drake stumbled out and onto the alter. It begged the Guards for help, pleading for
nourishment and fresh air. Seemingly too weak to walk properly, the drake was quickly fed a nearby Hell Hound as sustainance. It then followed the Guards to the surface of the tunnel and to the Lyceaum. Still hungry, the Guards brought her any livestock they could find. She would then kill it and promptly eat it.
The drake revealed that her name was Tal'Keesh, and that she and her kind were imprisoned by Minax long ago. In order to free the rest of the dragons, though, eight crystals were to be located and, upon discovery, shattered. She requested help from the Guard, and in exchange, would assist in ridding our lands of the Ophidian and Terathan forces.
It seemed that Tal'Keesh felt guilty for the Terathan and Ophidian invasion. She admitted to having visions of the creatures, and believed that she was partly to blame for their movement. In a moment of kindness, she shared with the Guard some very crucial information. She said that if we could kill the true Terathan Queen at her lair, then we would no longer be troubled by Terathans in Vesper.
Since Tal'Keesh had been so benevolent, the Guards agreed to help her free her kin. They then set out across the lands in search of the stones. Four were located in Trammel, and four in Felucca. They were located at the same place on each facet, mirroring their counterparts. Two were found in a circleof palms, two in a mountain tunnel near Shame; two in a grassy field next to Wrong; and two on a hill in the Hedge Maze.
Meanwhile, the valiant Guards who had ventured to the Terathan Keep were successfully able
to defeat the Queen. Due to their effort, the Terathans at the Vesper Cemetary were forced to retreat and return to their homeland.
At the castle, Tal'Keesh thanked everyone for helping to release her kindred. Thanks to the Royal Guard, they were finally free.
But we were decieved.
The creatures werefree, but they were also hostile. Scores of Wyrms and Dragons emerged from the underground gate and massed at the Lyceaum.
Quickly realizing thedeceptive drake's charade, the Royal Guard wasted no time in springing to Moonglow's defense.
Amid a myriad of corpses, Tal'Keesh appeared once again to thank the Guard for freeing her kin. She spoke mockingly of humankind's gullible nature, insisting that we were not of any use except as a morsel of food. She then proclaimed her intention to dominate the entire world, beginning with Moonglow.
An insurmountable amount of Ancient Wyrms overtook the Lyceaum, leaving nothing but cruel destruction in their wake.
The Guards tried desperately to suppress the horrific creatures, but to no avail. The dragons are relentless in their pursuit of domination and are only growing in numbers. When the Guard thought that they were finallysuccessful, Tal'Keesh merely brought forth more.
She recently attacked the city of Moonglow itself, too. If we do not defeat her soon, thenall of Britannia may be at risk.
A crystal was also found in the City of Vesper, and taken for investigation by Lord Kyeric Lorrin. Afterwards, Tal'Keesh appeared with hordes of dragons, and was not at all pleased that the crystal was gone. Dragons crowded in and around the Vesper museum, but were evidently too late to retrieve it. The crystal is now being studied by Clainin.
Sadly, in an attempt to rid our lands of the Ophidian and Terathan forces, we have carelessly unleashed a greater threat.
Regards- Lady Mana
