クライアントパッチ4.0.3aで導入された7周年記念ギフトには新しいアニメーションが加わっている。
質問
パッチでアニメーションを加える事ができないなんて言わないだろうね。

初期版のウルティマ オンラインからのアップデートを昨年廃止した事で可能となったよ。初期版のウルティマ オンラインではanim.mulと幾つかのファイルがハードディスクにコピーされないといった問題があり、アップデートをする手段がなかったんだ。
今後も積極的に導入していくつもりだ。
Question: Guess they can't say adding animations in patches can't be done anymore...
Answer: This is actually a result of us discontinuing support (we did this late last year) for the "partial installs" that people could do using the Original UO CD. From what I remember anim.mul and a few other files were not copied to the hard drive, and there was no other means to patch out some types of art to those clients.
I expect that we'll make more use of this option in the future.
