何故サーバーの拡張とアップグレードを行わないんだい？同様にシャードにも反映させて欲しい。そうする事で今までに行われたラグ改善よりも効果が見込まれるだろう。
回答）
正邪の大陸の為にサーバーには多くのRAMが追加されており、CPUサイクルにも多くの余裕を持たせた。したがって更に追加のCPUや処理能力の高いCPUへの換装は行っていない。サーバーでラグが発生するのはサーバーが本来余裕を持たせているはずのサイクルを誤って消費してしまう原因があるからだ。
正邪の大陸において体験しているラグは、あまりに多すぎるデータ転送を行っているサーバーが引き起こしている。Alaiと共に早急にこの問題に取り組むつもりだし・・・既にかなり良くなってきていると感じるはずだ。将来的には多くの改良を加えていくつもりだ。
We did add more RAM to the servers for Age of Shadows. We have plenty of free CPU cycles so we didn't add additional/faster CPUs. The only time there is server lag is when something is going horribly wrong, at all other times the servers have plenty of power to spare.
The lag that folks encountered with Age of Shadows is caused by the servers sending too much data. Alai and I are working on this problem as fast as we can... I think you'll find that it's now MUCH better... and we still have more improvements in-store for the future.
