久々にバハシャード トランメルライキュームにあるアルキメデスの事務所を訪れると、彼のデスクに一冊の書籍が置かれていた。
それには一連の反ロイヤルガード勢力との抗争に終止符が打たれた事が綴られていた。

ロイヤルガード諸君。
ドライデンの策略に一ヶ月をも費やしてしまった事が未だ信じられずにいる。私が最有力容疑者と決めてかかられた事は私自身非常に困惑してしまった。執行官がしくじりドライデンは逃げのびた。それはブラックソン城においてカオス主義者どもが決起した直後の事だった。奴は資金援助を受けてスカラブレイ、コーブ、マジンシア、ブリテインそして最後にはニュジェルムへの侵攻を開始していた。我々もコーブを解放すべくフェルッカで戦わざるを得なかった。そしてドライデンが多額の資金を得るのを妨害した。その後、もうひとつの不可解な事件として私がブラックベリーパイを探して行方不明になってしまったのだ。ニュジェルムの運命を決する物資収集戦が繰り広げられたが、ロイヤルガードの勝利に終わったという事ができて嬉しく思うよ。
昨夜、遂に我々はドライデンの完全なる敗北を目の当たりにし、ロイヤルガードの力の助力を得て、各都市から奴の軍勢を一掃する事ができた。こうして、遂に我々の長い苦難の戦いに終止符が打たれたのだろう。
お判りだろうが、多くの書類事務を片付け、ロイヤルコートへ提出せねばならない。少なくとも1,2週間は事務に追われて皆に会えないかもしれないが、暇を見て事務所を訪れてみよう。ユリウス ドライデンについてだが、彼がどのような運命を遂げるかはお判りだろう。今回の戦いには勝利できたものの、戦争が近づいてきているような気がする。
Dear Royal Guard
I can't believe it's been over a month of time invested in dealing with Judge Dryden, It all started out as a very confusing Trial, with me as the prime suspec. Thanks to the slip of the Bailiff, Dryden was able to escape. It was soon after we saw him establish the Partisans of Chaos out of Castle Blackthorn, where he gained financial support to start attacks on Skara Brae, Cove, Magencia, Britain, and finally Nujel'm. We also had to fight in Felucca to save Cove (and prevent Dryden from getting a large sum of gold), then another mystery where I went missing looking for a Blackberry Pie. Then therace of the resources to decide the fate of Nujel'm - which I'm happy to say the Royal Guard won!
Last night, we witnessed the complete failure of Judge Dryden, and with help from the Royal Guard we cleaned up what was left of all his forces in the cities, and it seems our long ordeal is finally over.
As you can imagine, there is a lot of paperwork and forms to be filled out and submitted to the Royal Court. I am afraid we may not meet again for a week or two at the very least, but I will check into my office every now and then. As for Julius Dryden, who knows what fate awaits him. We may have won the battle this time, but I feel the war is far from over.
