パブリッシュ27で導入されたマイナーアーティファクトのひとつ「Dread Pirate Hat」をパブリッシュ29で修正するようです。
皆さん、こんにちは。
本日帰宅前の余裕を見て、「Dread Pirate Hat」の調査を行ったのだが、その名に相応しいプロパティを備えているとは思えなかった。したがって以下に新たな「Dread Pirate Hat」を提案しよう。旧来のものはパブリッシュ29以降は出現しなくなり、恐らくレアアイテムとなるはずだ。
戦闘スキル +10
（解剖学、戦術、ソード、メイス、槍、弓、格闘からランダムにひとつ）
DEX +8
Night Sight
命中 +10%
冷気抵抗 14%
毒抵抗 10%
その他の属性抵抗値は通常品同等
以上のプロパティの方がテーマにより沿ったものに思える。
質問）
ランダムな戦闘スキル付与の方が絶対面白いよ。もしも取得者のスキル構成を読み取れるのであれば、剣士や槍士にとって役立たずなメイス+10が付与される事もなくなるんだろうがね。取得者が使える戦闘スキル付与のない帽子を手に入れたって苦情が殺到するだけだろう。
回答）
苦情を言うのは構わないが、他にも
A） 交換
B) 売却
C） 更なる狩りの継続
という選択肢が残されている事を指摘しよう。
更には多数の戦闘スキルを備えたキャラクターもいる事だろう。その場合にはどのスキルを提供すべきか判らない。おそらくランダムで提供するのが最善だと思うよ。
質問）
確かに新しいマイナーアーティファクトの色彩や性能は申し分ないものだが、皆さんにはまずバグ修正に取り組んでもらいたいね。
回答）
確かには我々はバグ修正を行っているし、今後も続けていくよ。Dread Pirate Hatの調整はその一環であり、私が余暇を利用してでも取り組もうと考えている事なんだ。
In my spare time today before going home, I was reviewing the Dread Pirate Hat and came to the conclusion that it really didn't seem have the properties worthy for such a name.
So here is what I propose for the new Dread Pirate Hat. The old version will no longer spawn after Publish 29, and will probably end up becoming a rare.
Stats:
+10 Random Combat Skill (anatomy, tactics, swordsmanship, mace fighting, fencing, archery, wrestling)
Dex Bonus 8
Night Sight
Hit Chance Increase 10%
Cold Resist +5 (14)
Poison Resist +5 (10)
This seems to fit more in the theme that I was trying to capture.

Comment: I absolutely love the random combat skill bonus - IF it reads the recipient's skills and doesn't wind up giving a useless +10 macing to a swordsperson or fencer, for example. Getting a hat that has no combat bonus the owner can use will end up with a lot of people in here complaining.
Leurocian: People may complain, but then it also gives reason to either A) trade B) sell C) keep hunting.
Plus, there could be characters with multiple weapon skills, so which should he/she get? Probably best to have it random.
