暖炉の煙突グラフィックに変更は行えない事が明示されました。
質問）
7周年記念アイテム「home of the hearthfire」を修正する予定はあるかい？2階に設置するとその煙突が3階まで突き抜けてしまって煩わしいよ。

そうだね、君の不満は良く理解できる。暖炉の抱える問題を検討し、過去からの経緯を吟味してみた。
暖炉はそもそも平屋の屋根下に丁度収まるか、屋上に設置されるかのどちらかを想定していたようなんだ。妙だね、我々は誰も2階建てや3階建ての家を持っていないとでも思っていたかのような想定だ。
さて、これを修正するとなると難題がある。もし私が煙突部分を切り張りしたり、単純に煙突を短くしてしまったりしたら、NPCの暖炉もプレイヤーの暖炉も全てがおかしくなってしまうだろう。実際、私は暖炉を台無しにしたくはない。そんな対処をしたら呪詛の込められたメールがどれ程メールボックスを埋め尽くすか想像も付かないし、デザイナー陣は我々を冷遇しセクションの縮小を検討するかもしれない（笑）。しかしながら、真面目に回答すると縦列へ変更を加える事は修正される点以上の不具合を生じかねないものなんだ。
我々としてはプレイヤーの皆さんに今現在の特定条件で暖炉を利用し続けて貰うしかない。そういう想定で用意されたものであり、その後の変更でゲーム自体に大きな弊害を生んだ場合には上手く折り合いをつけていくしかないのだ。
この件はタイムトラベル物語に酷似しているとは思わないかい？「マーティ、ママとデートしちゃ駄目だよ、彼らがサラ・コナーを殺したら、ジョンは生まれてこなくなり、ロボットどもの勝利に終わっちまう」今回の煙突はそんなにドラマチックじゃないけどね。

Yeah i feel your pain on that - i went over that Fireplace problem, dug around in its old history to see what was up with it.
Backstory - the fireplace was really meant as an item to be placed so the top of it would be just below a roof either on a single story or the top floor of a building.. (ok weird - like we all dont' have 2 and 3 story homes right and want it one the first floor?)
Now here's the kicker - if i fix it chop it all up - make multiple parts outta it so tops can be hidden or added secondary or just made really really squat- all the chimmenys in the game would go whack NPC and player ones - eeek. I would in fact destroy/messup all of them more or less - can't imagine the hate mail that would make us - and the designers here have the capability to just walk over and fire Nerf Cannons at us. LOL - but seriously - the cascadeing changes would cause more problems than they might fix..
The only thing we can do is hope players can use the chimmney in such a way that it fits into their particular housing style. It was launched that way now we kinda have to learn to live with it since any post changes would cause disruptions through the game.
Kinda sounds like someone messing with Time travel stuff don't it. "NO MARTY DON"T DATE YOUR MOM! - or - If they kill Sarah Connor, Jhon will never have been born and the robots will win!" .... well ok so maybe chimmey changes aren't as dramatic - guess a movie contract isn't in its future. rats...
